pub(crate) struct NumericLiteral {
digits: String,
has_trailing_dot: bool,
}
Fields§
§digits: String
The digits comprising the literal.
has_trailing_dot: bool
Indicates that the literal has a trailing dot.
A trailing dot indicates that the literal has a non-default base (i.e. if the default is decimal, “.” signals octal and if the default is otal, “.” signals decimal).
We don’t know whether the base is decimal or octal within the lexer, because the state information that tracks the current default base belongs to the parser (as the parser has to interpret the meta commands which switch the default).
