Function lincoln_to_unicode_strict

Source
pub fn lincoln_to_unicode_strict(
    input: &[Unsigned6Bit],
) -> Result<String, LincolnToUnicodeStrictConversionFailure>
Expand description

Convert a stream of Lincoln Writer codes to a Unicode string. Lincoln Writer codes are 6 bits, and these are assumed to be in the lower 6 bits of the input values.

ยงErrors

If an input character is printable on the Lincoln Writer (i.e. would make a mark on the paper) but has no Unicode representation (e.g. because the LW is in superscript mode and there is no Unicode superscript character to represent the incoming LW character) then Err(LincolnToUnicodeStrictConversionFailure) is returned.
